Family Service Night is coming up on Wednesday, April 29 at 6:30pm in the Grand Hall. Join other Live Oak families for a lively and fulfilling evening working on projects that benefit local community organizations. In addition to working on various service projects, Emily Bello & SiJing Sanchez of EHDD Architecture will be on hand during Family Service Night to host a Concept Design Studies open session for our community to learn more about the development plans for our new property at 195 De Haro Street. Read about this year's projects and how to get involved below.
Our projects this year will include creating:
Fleece blankets for the babies and toddlers of unhoused families served by the Homeless Prenatal Program
Grab n go bags for Family House
Cheery greeting cards for the clients of Meals on Wheels
Toys for the animals cared for by the Potrero branch of the SPCA
In partnership with the Homeless Prenatal Program, we will collect new and gently used book donations in bins in the lead-up to Family Service Night. The children's book drive is running from March 27 through the night of the event.
