Our student artists’ pride was evident as the hallways were filled with guests enjoying the range of sculptures, drawings, paintings, and more at Wednesday evening’s Art Show.
Virginia hosted a “Field Trip to the Future” on Thursday morning for members of the Live Oak community to see the new property at 195 De Haro and envision how the space will impact the future of learning at Live Oak.
The week before last, Live Oak enjoyed a schoolwide Earth Day Celebration out at Jackson Park that was organized by eighth grader Hope T. It featured sustainability presentations by middle school Green Team members, games, and some songs from lower school classes.
Thank you to all the Live Oak families who came out last Wednesday to participate in Family Service Night. Your collective effort helped make: 131 greeting cards for Meals on Wheel, 389 books and 21 blankets for the Homeless Prenatal Program, 104 dog toys for the SPCA, and 84 gift bags for Family House.
