Halloween Parade: What a great show of spirit at last week’s Halloween Parade in Jackson Park! Our students, faculty and staff, and parents/guardians showed off some creative costumes.
Celebration at the Festival of Altars: Live Oak’s Conexiones Affinity Group spearheaded the communal building of an altar at the Mariposa Project Día de los Muertos Festival of Altars this past Sunday. Norma P’33 and Victor P’31 were interviewed by KQED at the festival and the group had their altar featured in SF Gate.
Second Grade Publishing Party: Second grade authors displayed their growing writing skills by sharing their short stories and “small moment” personal narratives with their peers and families at their publishing party on Thursday morning.
